Relief Valve
A relief valve is a safety device that automatically vents pressure if a vessel exceeds its rated limit.
A relief valve, sometimes called a pressure relief valve, opens automatically when internal pressure rises above a preset threshold. This protects the chamber and its occupant by preventing over-pressurization.
