Pressurization
Pressurization is the controlled process of raising the internal pressure of a hyperbaric chamber above ambient levels.
Pressurization is the phase at the start of a hyperbaric session when compressors gradually increase chamber pressure to the target ATA. A controlled, gradual rise gives occupants time to equalize the pressure in their ears and sinuses.
