Hyperoxia
Hyperoxia is a state in which body tissues are exposed to higher-than-normal oxygen levels.
Hyperoxia is a technical term for oxygen exposure above normal atmospheric conditions. In chamber documentation, it may describe an oxygen-enriched breathing stream used while ambient pressure is elevated. Equipment instructions specify operating limits and oxygen-handling procedures.
