Oxygen Purity
Oxygen purity is the percentage of oxygen in a gas stream compared to other gases such as nitrogen.
Oxygen purity indicates how concentrated the oxygen output of a concentrator is, usually expressed as a percentage. Medical-grade concentrators commonly deliver oxygen in the 90 to 95 percent purity range at rated flow. Maintaining consistent oxygen purity depends on proper concentrator maintenance, clean filters, and appropriate flow rates within the hyperbaric system.
