A built-in breathing system is a mask-and-hose assembly that delivers oxygen directly to a chamber occupant.
BIBS stands for built-in breathing system, a fixed oxygen delivery method that routes oxygen from a concentrator or supply line to a mask worn by the user. This approach concentrates oxygen delivery at the mask rather than flooding the entire chamber, which supports safer oxygen management.
